User Manual: EN

This unique timepiece pays tribute to the famous cosmonaut Alexei Arkhipovich Leonov (1934-2019)

Leonov is most famous for his incredible feat as the first human to walk in space on

The first extra-vehicular activity (EVA) lasted just over 12 minutes, but in so doing he scored a new first for the Soviet Union in the ever-competitive “Space Race” with the USA.

Leonov was selected to be first Soviet person to land on the Moon, but the project was later cancelled.

A decade later, Leonov was commander of the Soyuz 19 craft that linked in orbit with the U.S. Apollo craft on July 17, 1975 for the first joint Soviet-American spaceflight.
